FABRICE MABILLOT USES POLAROIDS LIKE MOST PROFESSIONALS USE $30,000 EQUIPMENT. His Polaroid work is incredible and has made me realise that maybe I shouldn’t be treating my cameras like they are just vintage and from another time. I was astounded when first coming across his Polaroid work to discover that it was all actually shot with a Polaroid camera.

Mabillot recently was one of the photographers featured in The Polaroid Party, an exhibition of Polaroid work in Brooklyn, New York.

French born, Mabillot shoots fashion and pretty girls but also spends a lot of his time in Mali shooting with his trusty SX 70. According to The Polaroid Party, he has spent a lot of his career as a “sought after art director in Paris.”

The man is an incredible talent to think he has only been using an SX70 since 2007. I’ll let his work do the talking.
Check out the rest of his work here.
